The Travel Bursary Programme resumes in 2022 after having been cancelled in 2020 and 2021 because of the Covid pandemic. Invitations have gone to universities to advertise the bursary, receive applications and nominate candidates. Successful applicants will meet at the Cape Town Waterfront on 22nd November for three orientation days.

The Farewell Dinner for the 2022 travel bursars, to which all past Abes who are in or near Cape Town are invited, will be held on 24th November, 2022. Details of the dinner will be included in the September 2022 Abe Bailey Fellowship Newsletter.
